Tutorial #1: check transcriptional level of ABC transporter gene Medtr1g009860.1 over drought-treatment experiment

Choose Browse Samples by PO/EO Tree under Expression Atlas menu:

Choose Medicago truncatula and click OK button to select species:

On left panel, navigate into PO tree view and click drought environment. All drought-related experiments will be displayed on right side. Checking these experiments of your interest and further click the cart link on right-top corner to open new page.

The opened cart page will be displayed as follows. Type ABC which is keyword of ABC transporter and click Submit button.

The following page show the list of ABC transporters returned from keyword search. Click the circled Link.

The opened page show the transcription level of corresponding probesets of clicked gene (Medtr1g009860.1) over selected microarray experiments.





Tutorial #2: query the difference of any UDP-glucosyltransferases between root and nodule

Choose Browse Samples by Keyword under Expression Atlas menu, type nodule and click Or box and Submit button

Choose experiments from the list and click Cart link on right-top side

Choose Search by Expression Pattern

Type IPR002213 which is InterProScan domain ID of UDP-glucosyltransferase, then click Submit button

Click Download Expression to get Excel file for expression level of all 173 UDP-glucosyltransferase genes between root and nodule
